The right-back’s current contract at the Reds ends at the end of the month, and he has not been offered a new deal.
So, the former Arsenal defender will become a free agent.
Jenkinson spent eight years at Arsenal before leaving for Forest in the summer of 2019 for £2 million (The Sun).
The 30-year-old was quite popular among the Arsenal fans, but the former Charlton Athletic right-back could not establish himself as a regular in the first team.

During his time at Arsenal, Jenkinson had loan spells at West Ham United and Birmingham City.
Interestingly, Arsenal have been linked with right-backs this summer, presumably as back-up to Takehiro Tomiyasu.
According to Marca in May, Arsenal have made a bid for Udinese right-back Nahuel Molina.
Also in May, The Sun reported that the Gunners are keen on Djed Spence, who spent the past season on loan at Forest from Middlesbrough.
