Well, Armando Broja to Everton isn’t dead in the water yet.

The Daily Mail published a report on Wednesday which states that Everton remain interested in the Chelsea striker.

Broja starred on loan at Southampton this past season and Chelsea slapped a £58 million asking price on the player.

In January, the 20-year-old found himself linked with a transfer to Goodison Park [Team Talk].

And it would appear as the Merseyside outfit remain interested, based on The Mail’s recent report.

Armando Broja to Everton?

Well, Lampard will definitely be wanting a number nine this summer – at least one of them.

That’s because Everton almost got relegated during the 2021-22 campaign, something which seemed unthinkable at the beginning of the season.

With 11 goals, Richarlison was their top scorer in all competitions last term and second in the list was Andros Townsend with seven.

Of course, Dominic Calvert-Lewin spent a chunk of the season out injured, which contributed to Everton’s struggles in a massive way.

But even still, Lampard definitely needs additional firepower up front.

However, £58 million is a steep price to pay for someone with only six Premier League goals under his belt – and 33 appearances in this competition overall.
