Tottenham Hotspur fancy Caglar Soyuncu and Leicester City are now putting the defender up for sale this summer.
Tottenham secured their second signing of the summer today by wrapping up a deal for free agent goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
Forster joins fellow freebie Ivan Perisic in signing for Tottenham this summer as Fabio Paratici makes a fast start to the window.
More signings will be coming and money will absolutely be spent, with Antonio Conte keen to bring in a new centre back this summer.
Alessandro Bastoni has been the main name mentioned with the Inter Milan perfect for the left-sided role in Conte’s back three.
That deal will looks to be dead with Bastoni now staying at Inter and Tottenham have been linked with other centre backs – some of them not even left-footed despite the need there.
Tottenham Hotspur fancy Caglar Soyuncu
One such rumour emerged in May as the Daily Mail reported that Tottenham were interested in Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu.
It was suggested that Chelsea and Atletico Madrid were also in the race to sign Soyuncu after he switched agents.
The Turkish defender has largely impressed since joining Leicester from Freiburg back in 2018 but was a little mixed last season.
The Daily Mail now have a follow-up on Soyuncu and claim that Leicester have made Soyuncu available for transfer.

Leicester want to cash in and reinvest in their squad with Ayoze Perez, Boubakary Soumare, Jannik Vestergaard, Youri Tielemans and Hamza Choudhury potentially leaving too.
Soyuncu’s availability may well interest Tottenham especially with Bastoni seemingly not available this summer.
Soyuncu is right-footed but has been playing as Leicester’s left-sided centre back in a four-man defence.
Rio Ferdinand has hailed Soyuncu as ‘very, very quick’ which may well intrigue Tottenham, as will his comfort playing on the left.
Yet with an inconsistent season under his belt at Leicester – and with the Foxes now so willing to sell – Tottenham may wonder if they can aim a little higher.
