Tottenham Hotspur see Inter Milan central defender Alessandro Bastoni as “an absolute dream signing”, according to journalist Dean Jones.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Jones has told GiveMeSport that Tottenham are keen on signing Bastoni and see him as a dream signing in the summer transfer window.
The Times reported this week that Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte is very keen on the left-footed centre-back.
The report added that former Italian champions Inter are looking for £54 million as transfer fee for the Italy international, who is unsure about a move to Spurs this summer.

Jones told GiveMeSport: “This is a guy that they see as an absolute dream signing. They’re certainly looking into it; I know that much.
“£50m, it sounds a lot, but now they’ve got Champions League football and they know they’re going to have extra investment.
“They also need to consider, and this is a big thing for Tottenham for next season, the fact that there is this five-sub rule. They know that this squad has to be so much deeper.”

Conte worked with the youngster at Inter, and the Tottenham boss could be able to persuade him to move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Moreover, if Tottenham are willing to pay £54 million for Bastoni, then, in our view, Inter will surely be keen on getting that money and offloading him this summer.
