Former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is not enthusiastic about a potential move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to Calciomercato.
The report has claimed that Arsenal are interested in signing Morata from Atletico Madrid this summer.
Juventus want to make Morata’s loan deal permanent, but the Italian champions do not want to pay the €35 million (£29.82m) that Atletico want.
The La Liga club do not want to sell the £125,000-a-week (SalarySport) striker at a discounted price to Juventus.
Calciomercato have added that Morata is not very enthusiastic about a potential move to Arsenal because of his previous experience in the Premier League with Chelsea.
The 29-year-old former Real Madrid striker scored 16 goals in 47 Premier League matches for Chelsea.

Sudden twist in Arsenal’s pursuit of Alvaro Morata
This report in Calciomercato is a sudden twist in Arsenal’s pursuit of Alvaro Morata.
It was reported only last week that Arsenal were close to securing the services of the Spain international striker.
Sport reported that the Gunners were ‘close’ to striking a deal over Morata.
However, it seems that it is not all plain-sailing for Arsenal.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal are able to convince Morata to put his Chelsea disappointment behind him and move back to London.
