Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp really admires Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min, according to Football.London.
Football.London are reporting today that Liverpool manager Klopp has long been an admirer of the Tottenham star.
Liverpool were considering a big bid for Son Heung-min in the summer transfer window had Tottenham not finished in the Premier League top four this season, according to the report.
The report has added that Liverpool ‘are not expected to take their Son interest any further’ despite speculation on the future of Sadio Mane.
Senegal international forward Mane has decided to leave Liverpool and will communicate it to the club soon, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Tottenham’s Son Heung-min perfect Mane replacement at Liverpool
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min is the perfect replacement for Sadio Mane at Liverpool.
Son is 29 now and is at the top of his game.
The South Korea international shared the Premier League Golden Boot with Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah this season.
Son can play as a wide forward and is also operate more centrally, just as Mane can.
Now, of course, Tottenham are a big club and will play in the Champions League next season, so the North London outfit are going to ask for a lot – a lot – in transfer fees if Liverpool do firm up their interest in Son Heung-min.
