Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster has already undergone a medical at Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to BBC Sport.

BBC Sport are reporting this afternoon that Forster will leave Southampton and join Premier League rivals Tottenham on a free transfer this summer.

The 34-year-old has already undergone a medical at Tottenham, who will announce the transfer deal ‘soon’, according to the report.

Forster will be the second-choice goalkeeper at Tottenham and will play second fiddle to Hugo Lloris, who is the club captain and also the number one between the posts.

Fraser Forster a bargain signing for Tottenham Hotspur

In our view, Fraser Forster would be a very good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Forster could prove to be a masterstroke bargain signing for Spurs.

The 34-year-old is hugely experienced and will come to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as a free transfer.

The Englishman is a safe pair of hands who would have no problem whatsoever in replace Lloris in the starting lineup at short notice.

Even in Champions League games.

Remember, Forster played for Celtic and impressed the legendary Lionel Messi with his saves in the Champions League.

We think that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is about to make a very smart signing in Forster.
