Celtic want Taylor Harwood-Bellis as they consider signing one of two Manchester City central defenders this summer.
Celtic are back on top of Scottish football having snatched the title back from rivals Rangers this season.
Yet having seen the Gers reach the Europa League final, there will be pressure on Celtic to go further in Europe.
Ange Postecoglou must look to kick on again next season and he will certainly need reinforcements to make that happen.
The hope is that Cameron Carter-Vickers will stay at Parkhead, but Celtic are looking to another Premier League defender.
Celtic want Taylor Harwood-Bellis
Sky Sports report that Celtic are interested in Manchester City defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis this summer.
It’s stated that Celtic want to add another centre back whether Carter-Vickers stays or not.
One of their targets is Harwood-Bellis with Celtic once again looking to utilise their relationship with City.
Postecoglou came in from a City Football Group club in Yokohama F. Marinos whilst a number of City players have joined Celtic over the years.
Jason Denayer, John Guidetti, Dedryck Boyata, Patrick Roberts, Olivier Ntcham and Daniel Arzani have all made moves to Parkhead whether on loan or permanently.
Celtic may now hope that relationship helps them sign Harwood-Bellis.
Harwood-Bellis, 20, has come up through the City ranks and has now been out on loan three times; Blackburn Rovers, Anderlecht and Stoke City have all taken him in.

Now heading back to City this summer, Harwood-Bellis is likely to be available on loan again.
Harwood-Bellis played under a former Celtic boss at Blackburn in Tony Mowbray and he was very impressed.
Mowbray suggested that Harwood-Bellis has a real ‘defensive instinct’ and a ‘warrior attitude’ whilst being composed on the ball.
Those are all attributes that should impress Celtic, but the report adds that the Bhoys are also considering another City defender in Ko Itakura.
Both should be available this summer and Postecoglou would no doubt have the trust of City in any loan deal.
