According to Jeunes Footeux, Crystal Palace and Everton have joined Premier League rivals Liverpool and Newcastle in the race to sign Ismaila Sarr.
What’s the story?
Well, after Watford were relegated from the Premier League, their £30m forward has seemingly become available.
Jeunes Footeux believe it is very likely that Sarr leaves Vicarage Road, and the Hornets will not keep him if a suitable offer arrives.
Crystal Palace, Everton and Newcastle are mentioned by the French news outlet, while it was Calciomercato who revealed that Liverpool are interested in Sadio Mane’s international colleague.
Interestingly, Jeunes Footeux specifically state that Patrick Vieira is a big fan of Sarr – who Alan Shearer also admires – and appreciates the 24-year-old’s abilities.
In 22 Premier League appearances this season, the Senegal international scored five goals, while also providing two assists.
That doesn’t seem too impressive, although Sarr did miss 14 Premier League games through injury, while he was also away at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Watford No.23 also struggled for rhythm, as the Hornets employed Xisco, Claudio Ranieri and Roy Hodgson all in the same season.
Ismaila Sarr would thrive at Crystal Palace, Everton, Liverpool or Newcastle

In our view, Sarr is a player just waiting to explode in the Premier League, although Watford haven’t provided him with the foundations to do so.
Frequent managerial changes at Vicarage Road have affected Sarr’s development, in our view, although we’ve still seen glimpses of his raw talent.
The Saint-Louis-born winger famously scored twice in a 3-0 win against Liverpool in 2020, to end Jürgen Klopp’s hopes of emulating The Invincibles.

Sarr possesses fantastic movement, finishing ability and pace, while he also has plenty of time to become even better.
By the sounds of it, if one of the four aforementioned Premier League sides makes a respectable bid, it will be accepted.
Therefore, keep an eye on this saga, as anything could happen this summer.
