Manchester United-owned Everton midfielder Donny van de Beek has taken to Instagram to send a message to the Toffees’ fans, and has admitted his disappointment at the defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on the final day of the Premier League season.
Van de Beek, who joined Everton on loan from Manchester United in the January transfer window, is not happy that Frank Lampard’s side went down 5-1 to Arsenal in North London in their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday.
However, the Netherlands international midfielder has pointed out that Everton had already secured their Premier League status for next season last week.
The 25-year-old has also thanked everyone at Everton, as his loan spell from United comes to an end.
Van de Beek made five starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Toffees during his loan spell.
The former Ajax star scored one goal in those matches.

New Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said that he is looking forward to working with Van de Beek next season, which suggests that the Dutchman will not be coming back to Goodison Park.
