Leeds United have avoided relegation – and Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes has suggested that he did Raphinha and co a favour on Sunday.
Leeds travelled to Brentford knowing that they were in a straight fight with Burnley to avoid relegation.
Level on points but with a much worse goal difference, Leeds looked to be in real trouble.
However, Leeds produced a 2-1 victory at Brentford as Raphinha scored a penalty to open the scoring.
Sergi Canos equalised to give Burnley hope but Jack Harrison’s late winner secured Leeds’ Premier League status.
Burnley losing at home to Newcastle means a point would have been enough for Leeds, but Harrison’s goal wrapped it all up.

The final whistle sparked wild scenes as Raphinha went into the travelling Leeds fans to celebrate staying in the Premier League.
Raphinha really came up big for Leeds in the final weeks of the season and his passionate celebrations summed it all up.
The Brazilian may end up on the move this summer but you can’t doubt his commitment to the Leeds cause.
Raphinha took to Instagram after the final whistle to celebrate, stating that the photos of him with the Leeds fans speak a thousand words.
Leeds players joined in the celebrations, but there was also a message from Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.
Newcastle were away at Burnley on Sunday and claimed a 2-1 victory, allowing Leeds to haul themselves clear of the drop.
Guimaraes and Raphinha play together for Brazil and the Newcastle man has now sent a message to the Whites winger.
Guimaraes said ‘you’re welcome’ to Raphinha after Newcastle did Leeds a huge favour with their win before also sending congratulations to Raphinha.
The pair have yet to play against each other in the Premier League but that day could well come next season after both teams stayed up.
