Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has told The Telegraph that he was wrong to say that everyone in England wants Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to win the Premier League, and has jokingly invited Manchester United fans to join in on potential title celebrations.
Manchester United and Liverpool are traditional rivals, and Manchester City manager Guardioala has admitted that he has now realised that the Old Trafford faithful would rather the Citizens win the Premier League title than Klopp’s team.
Earlier this month, Guardiola said that he thinks that everyone in England wants Liverpool to win the Premier League title, not City.

Liverpool are currently a point behind leaders City in second place in the Premier League table.
The Merseyside club will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield on the final day of the season on Sunday.
City, who won the Premier League title last season, will lock horns with Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola (jokingly) told The Telegraph: “Are you sure? Yeah? So United likes City more than Liverpool.
“Oh my God, I didn’t know it. Is it true? So I was wrong when I say everyone wants Liverpool in this country! I was wrong.
“Yeah, welcome. Welcome. If they want to join us in the street. But they have to wear the blue shirt, yeah. They have to wear it!”
