Hugo Ekitike will make a decision on his future “soon”, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, amid interest from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Romano has reported on Twitter that Newcastle and Dortmund are keen on signing the Reims striker in the summer transfer window.

Romano has added that the striker will leave Reims, and that he will make a decision on his future ‘soon’.

ButFootballClub reported in March interest from Arsenal in the French teenager, adding that the Gunners have been scouting him this season.

Exciting talent

Ekitike is one of the best teenage strikers in Europe, and we are not surprised that Arsenal, Newcastle and Dortmund all want to sign him in the summer transfer window.

The youngster scored 10 goals and gave three assists in just 15 Ligue 1 starts for Reims this season.

It will be interesting to see which club Ekitike chooses to move to this summer.

What is encouraging from Romano’s tweet is that the striker will not take a long time to make a decision.

That is very good news for all the clubs interested in him, as they will know one way or the other in the coming days.
