Gary Neville stated on Sky Sports that Jack Harrison’s winning goal is worth ‘£100 million’ as Leeds United secured their safety in the Premier League.
On the final day of the season, Leeds needed to better Burnley’s result and they did just that in remarkable fashion.
The Whites beat Brentford at Griffin Park, with Jack Harrison netting a stunning stoppage-time winner.
On top of that, Newcastle United did them a favour by beating Burnley at Turf Moor, as the Clarets are now relegated to the Championship.
Nonetheless, this is how Neville reacted on commentary, whilst at the Etihad, just as Harrison’s crucial goal went in.
“That’s a £100 million goal that,” said Neville.

This has been quite an incredible season for Leeds and one they will probably want to forget, but equally, remember.
On one hand, what a rollercoaster it has been for all involved.
But, on the other, injuries to key players, Marcelo Bielsa being sacked and stupid amounts of goals being conceded.
It could have ended very differently, but it’s one that they will have to put to one side and start afresh again next season.
Jesse Marsch was brought in to keep Leeds up and he has done just that right at the very death.
