Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has told the club’s official website that Gareth Bale will be fit for the Champions League final against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool next weekend.

Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Bale’s potential appearance against Liverpool is going to be his last for Madrid.

Bale is out of contract at the La Liga champions this summer.

The 32-year-old has had injury problems this season and did not play against Real Betis in La Liga last night.

Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale available v Liverpool

Ancelotti told Madrid’s official website about Bale: “He wasn’t on the bench tonight because he wasn’t fit.

“He wanted to say farewell to the fans here at the stadium. He’s got one last chance because he’ll be fit for the final.”

Encouraging

In our opinion, Gareth Bale potentially being available against Liverpool is very encouraging for Real Madrid.

Now, we do not expect the winger to start, but even having him as an option on the bench will enhance Madrid’s chances of winning the Champions League final against Liverpool.

Bale has scored big and important goals for Madrid in the Champions League, and the winger could well come off the bench and find the winner against Liverpool in the final.

The Madrid no. 18 made four starts and one substitute appearance in La Liga this season.

Bale has played only seven minutes in the Champions League for Los Blancos this campaign.
