Tim Sherwood on Leeds United and Burnley relegation situation
Sherwood said on Premier League Productions: “You’d have to give the advantage to Burnley as they’re at home, though Newcastle are on a very good run at the moment.
“Leeds have got to go to Brentford and it’s always tough to go away on the last day of the season, the opposition has nothing to play for but they want to send their fans home happy for the summer.”
In our opinion, Burnley have the clear advantage over Leeds in the race to avoid the drop.
All Burnley need to do is match the result of Leeds on the final day of the season.
Now, Newcastle are already safe, and the Clarets will fancy their chances of picking up at least a point against Eddie Howe’s side.
As for Brentford, the players will surely be determined to put on a show for the home fans on the final day of the campaign and will make it really tough for Leeds.
