Speaking on the F2 Freestylers’ YouTube channel, Aaron Ramsdale has been discussing Nuno Tavares and the fact he has the hardest shot of any player at Arsenal.
The Gunners have their fair share of players who are brilliant at striking a ball from distance, from Granit Xhaka to Kieran Tierney, but according to Ramsdale, Tavares has the hardest shot at the club.
The Portuguese full-back is a very attack-minded defender, and according to Ramsdale, he’s not afraid to let one rip from as far as 40 yards out in training.
What’s been said?
Ramsdale responded when asked who has the hardest shot at Arsenal.
“Tavares, wow. Right foot, left foot, 40 yards away or 20 yards away, he just whacks it. No mercy,” Ramsdale said.

Tone it down
We’re not all that surprised to hear that Tavares has the hardest shot of any Arsenal player, but unfortunately, he very rarely hits the target with these efforts,
Perhaps it’s because of the power he puts in, but Tavares’ shots often seem to find row Z more often than they find the top corner.
In fact, the only goal Tavares has scored all season had barely any power behind it as he tapped the ball home against Manchester United.
It’s all well and good shooting from distance, but perhaps the Portuguese ace should be looking for a bit more precision rather than power from now on.
