According to Football London, Tottenham are now interested in bringing Arsenal and Liverpool target Alexander Isak to the Premier League.
What’s the story?
Well, it seems Antonio Conte is focused on signing a new striker, and with the help of Fabio Paratici, has set his sights on the Real Sociedad gem.
Isak – who was allegedly the subject of a £59m bid from Liverpool – is one of the best young forwards in Europe, and it’s no surprise to see Spurs take an interest.
So far this season, the Sweden international has scored ten goals in 40 appearances, while also providing three assists.
Isak has also been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which reflects very well on the youngster.
Elsewhere, Arsenal are said to be in talks with the 22-year-old, and given the duration of these rumours, it certainly seems as if Mikel Arteta is a big fan of the wonderkid.
Therefore, if Tottenham steal him from under Arsenal’s nose, it would be an extremely dramatic development in this transfer saga.
Arsenal must beat Tottenham & Liverpool to Alexander Isak

In our view, Arsenal have to win this transfer battle.
Jürgen Klopp already has Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota to choose from.
Furthermore, while he doesn’t have great depth, Conte can still call upon Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.
However, Arteta will be losing Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah next month when their contracts expire, leaving Folarin Balogun as his only striking option.

The Spaniard would’ve had Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as well, although he was released in January.
Therefore, the Gunners must make use of their longstanding interest in Isak, and ensure they bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
If not him, then another striker must arrive, or else Arsenal can kiss goodbye to any hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season.
