West Ham United are eyeing Everton flop Moise Kean but the Juventus loanee could also be offered to Premier League rivals Arsenal, as reported by Tuttosport.
There’s talent in there, somewhere. But coaxing it out of this most mercurial and enigmatic of footballers has proven to be beyond even some of the planet’s finest tacticians.
Neither Carlo Ancelotti nor Max Allegri have succeeded in getting a tune out of Kean. But the Italy international, the youngest player to score for the Azzuri in 60 years, struck all the right notes at Paris Saint-Germain last season, scoring 17 goals on loan at the Ligue 1 champions while keeping Mauro Icardi out of the team.
To say Kean’s career has been a rollercoaster would be an understatement. The highs of that eye-catching breakthrough at Juventus, that terrific spell in Paris, sandwiching the lows of his ill-fated Everton stint, an underwhelming return to Turin.
But, having turned 22 as recently as February, Kean is far from the finished article. He has time on his side and lot’s of it.
Strong, powerful and blessed with a real poacher’s instinct, there is no reason why a man Everton paid £25 million for when he was just 19 cannot live up to the potential that saw former PSG ace Jerome Rothen describe him as ‘a mix of Edinson Cavani and Icardi’.
Will Everton’s Moise Kean end up at Arsenal or West Ham United?
Maybe David Moyes, a coach who, at West Ham, has developed a remarkable knack for turning good players into great ones, is the ideal coach to jump-start Kean’s stuttering career.

According to Tuttosport, via Il Bianconero, West Ham have enquired about Kean’s availability. This will not be an easy deal to do, however, with Juventus trying to back out of the obligation-to-buy clause Everton inserted into the striker’s contract upon his return to Turin last summer.

Perhaps Juve will trigger that clause, before selling him on to the Hammers for a profit. Tuttosport adds that Kean could also be offered to Arsenal, alongside out-of-favour playmaker Arthur Melo. Juventus want to strike a deal for Gunners defender Gabrael Magalhaes.
It is no secret that Arsenal are scouring the market for a new striker. What’s more, Juventus director Federico Cherubini was in London for talks this week.
