Barcelona have made a bid for reported Liverpool target and Leeds United winger Raphinha, according to UOL.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano reported in Anfield Watch in April 2022 that Liverpool are interested in signing the Brazil international winger in the summer transfer window.

However, it is Barcelona who are reportedly getting a move-on.

Brazilian news outlet UOL have reported that the La Liga giants have made an offer of €55 million (£46.47m), with a further €10m (£8.45m) in performance bonuses.

Goal Brasil have reported that Leeds are not going to hold any talks this week over the £63,000-a-week winger (SalarySport), as the club are aiming to avoid relegation to the Championship on the final day of the Premier League season.

Barcelona or Liverpool for Leeds United winger Raphinha?

In our opinion, Barcelona have a better chance of signing Raphinha from Leeds United than Liverpool.

Liverpool do not exactly need another winger, especially one who could cost almost £50 million.

After all, the Reds signed Luis Diaz only in the January transfer window, and the Colombia international has been superb for the Reds.

On the other hand, Barcelona could do with a pacy and skilful winger like Raphinha who also works hard for the team.
