Newcastle United are considering going back in for Gabriel Barbosa having missed out on the Flamengo striker during the January window.
Newcastle will be linked with every player under the sun between now and the summer transfer deadline.
PIF’s investment means Newcastle can be a little more adventurous than in previous transfer windows.
Another striker is bound to be on the wish list with Chris Wood and Callum Wilson needing some help up top.
A host of names have already been linked but Flamengo ace Gabriel Barbosa is back on the radar.
Newcastle United are considering going back in for Gabriel Barbosa
90Min claim that Newcastle are considering a host of strikers for this summer’s transfer window.
Reims starlet Hugo Ekitike is the favourite but Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah are on the wish list too.
The other striker named is Gabriel Barbosa, who you may know better as ‘Gabigol’.
Gabriel, 25, burst onto the scene with Santos and earned comparisons to Neymar.
56 goals in 154 games earned Gabriel a move to Inter Milan, but that only resulted in a return to Brazil.
First it was Santos and then Flamengo, where he has really settled down.

Gabriel has now smashed 118 goals in 167 outings for Flamengo across all competitions.
Newcastle did target a move for the Brazilian in January and The Chronicle suggested that Gabriel was keen to join the Magpies.
Newcastle couldn’t get the deal done though and many will have thought that the move was dead and buried.
Instead, Newcastle are now rekindling their interest in Gabriel and could move for him if Ekitike doesn’t end up joining.
With fellow Brazilian Bruno Guimaraes already on board at Newcastle, a move to join him could again appeal to Gabriel – if Flamengo will let him go this time.
