Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are favourites to sign Nahuel Molina from Udinese in the summer transfer window, according to CM.
CM have reported that Arsenal are leading the race to secure the services of Molina this summer.
Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also interested in the 24-year-old Argentina international right-back, according to the Italian news outlet, who have added that Udinese want €30 million (£25.58 million) for the 2021 Copa America winner.
Pablo Mari is on loan at Udinese at the moment, and Arsenal could reportedly use the 28-year-old centre-back in a deal to bring Molina to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Could Arsenal sign Nahuel Molina from Udinese?
In our opinion, if Arsenal are willing to pay €30 million (£25.58 million) for Nahuel Molina, then the Gunners will be able to sign the defender from Udinese.
The Serie A club are unlikely to put up major obstacles for Arsenal.
Molina is a very good right-back who is at the right age to take the next step in his career and make a move to Arsenal.
The former Boca Juniors right-back has made 30 starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A this season.
Molina has scored seven goals and given one assist in those games.
In our view, the Udinese right-back would be a good signing for Arsenal and would provide cover for Takehiro Tomiyasu.
