Tottenham Hotspur and Everton have both made offers to sign Kim Min-jae this summer – and the offers for the Fenerbahce star are ‘serious’.

Tottenham have Cristian Romero on board as their star defender but Joe Rodon is expected to leave this summer.

That means Antonio Conte may well need to add another centre back to his ranks.

As for Everton, the Toffees are in a battle against relegation and targeting big signings now is a bold idea.

Still, Kim has earned huge praise for his displays in Turkey and could end up earning himself a move to the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton have both made offers to sign Kim Min-jae

Turkish newspaper Fanatik report that Kim has a €23million (£19.5million) release clause in his contract.

It’s stated that three clubs are standing out as the most likely destinations for Kim this summer.

Tottenham, Everton and Napoli are the three clubs in question and the offers on the table from all three teams are described as ‘serious’.

That would likely mean that the offers aren’t quite at the release clause value but close enough to make Fenerbahce think.

Fenerbahce of course want to keep hold of Kim but may sense quick profit having paid a fraction of that £19.5million clause last summer.

Kim, 25, has been linked with Tottenham for a couple of years now.

The prospect of joining up with South Korea international teammate Son Heung-min has to be hugely appealing to Kim.

Son has become a fan favourite at Tottenham and Kim would no doubt love to play for a club with such a strong South Korean following.

Kim has even been likened to Virgil van Dijk and a strong season in Turkey could now see him join the Liverpool star as a Premier League defender.
