Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has told Southampton to beat Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool 4-0 at St. Mary’s Stadium this week, as quoted on BBC Sport.
Liverpool will take on Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.
The Reds are second in the league table at the moment with 86 points from 36 matches.
Manchester City, who won the Premier League title last season, are top with 90 points from 37 games.
A defeat for Liverpool at Southampton would see City win the league title, and manager Guardiola wants just that.

Pep Guardiola on Southampton v Liverpool
When asked if he has a message for Southampton, Guardiola said, as quoted on BBC Sport: “Beat Liverpool 4-0.”
Unlikely result
In our view, it is unlikely that Southampton will beat Liverpool 4-0.
Yes, the Saints could pick up all three points, but we do not think that they will put four goals past Liverpool.
Given the form that Liverpool are in at the moment and the quality of players they have, we predict the Reds to win against Southampton with ease.
The Premier League title race between Guardiola’s Manchester City and Klopp’s Liverpool will be decided on the final day of the season.
