James McClean mocked Rangers on his Instagram story after Celtic won the Scottish Premiership crown on Wednesday night.

The Republic of Ireland winger stated that Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has ‘stopped two in a row’.

Rangers won the Premiership title under Steven Gerrard last season for the first time in nearly a decade, but that has quickly been halted by their Old Firm rivals this term.

Nonetheless, this is what Celtic fan, McClean, posted on his IG following their draw at Dundee United, which secured the title.

“Big Ange stopping two in a row,” he posted.

When Postecoglou first walked through the doors of Celtic Park, there were many who were questioning the former Australia coach and who he was… well, now they know.

Whilst the Bhoys took a while to get their engines going, as soon as Big Ange put his foot on the accelerator, Rangers haven’t been able to stop their rivals.

It has been a remarkable job from the Celtic boss because he was under big pressure following the mess he inherited from last season.

There’s no doubt that Postecoglou will find that, come next season, Rangers will come harder at their neighbours.

For one, there will now be more expectations on the Greek-born coach’s shoulders.

Added with that fact that Giovanni van Bronkhorst will be able to bring his own players in and have a pre-season under his belt after Steven Gerrard’s departure back in November.
