Everton trio Richarlison, Anthony Gordon and Ben Godfrey have all emerged as potential summer targets for Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, as reported by The Telegraph.

With a suddenly in-form Everton side needing another win or two in order to pull themselves clear of the relegation zone, Frank Lampard really couldn’t have asked for more obliging opponents.

The Merseysiders travel to Watford on Wednesday night. Yes, that Watford. The one relegated with a whimper just four days earlier. The one who have lost a remarkable 23 of their last 28 Premier League games.

If Antonio Conte can find time in his busy schedule, in the build up to tomorrow’s colossal North London derby clash with Arsenal, he may be tempted to tune in as Roy Hodgson’s side aim to clip Everton’s wings.

Because, according to The Telegraph, Spurs are keeping tabs on Richarlison, Gordon and Godfrey, potentially in the hope that Everton’s first relegation since the 1950s would lead to a summer exodus on the blue side of Stanley Park.

Tottenham want Richarlison, Gordon and Godfrey for Everton

Without Brazil international Richarlison and homegrown hero Godfrey, top-flight survival may be little more than a pipe dream for Everton with three games remaining.

Both players have produced colossal performances in recent weeks, Richarlison following up a last-minute equaliser against Leicester with a winner against Chelsea.

Gordon, meanwhile, has been arguably Everton’s most consistent performer this season. A rare beam of light piercing through the gloom. Some feat given his age and relative inexperience.

The England U21 ace, in the words of one pundit, gave Trent Alexander-Arnold ‘the runaround’ during April’s Merseyside derby.

Godfrey has not found praise quite so easy to come by, however. Only one player (Tim Krul) has committed more errors that have led directly to opposition goals this term. But it should not be forgotten that the versatile Godfrey, who can play anywhere across the back four, was being named Everton’s Young Player of the Year just 12 months ago.

Tottenham’s interest in Richarlison and Gordon will raise further doubts about the futures of Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura under Conte.
