Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Frank Lampard’s Everton are considering making bids for Torino central defender Gleison Bremer, according to The Sun.
The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Torino value Bremer at £40 million, and that Leicester City, Chelsea and AC Milan are also keen on the Brazilian.
The Sun have added that ‘Bremer is excellent in the air, lightning quick and is a left-sided central defender’.
Would Gleison Bremer make Tottenham better?
In our opinion, Bremer would be a good signing for Tottenham in the summer transfer window, but the £40 million price-tag is a bit too high.
We do not think that Spurs should pay that much money.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte plays three at the back.

Cristiano Romero plays on the right, Eric Dier plays in the middle, and Ben Davies operates on the left.
Now, Davies has done well for Tottenham in a centre-back role, but the Wales international is a left-back by trade.
So, we can understand why Conte would want a natural left-sided central defender, which Bremer is.
However, we do not think that Tottenham should pay £40 million for a 25-year-old defender who has yet to make his debut at international level.
