Ian Wright has praised Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah on Twitter for scoring twice against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Nketiah scored twice for Arsenal in the first half of the Premier League game against Leeds in North London this afternoon.

The former Leeds loanee found the back of the net first in the fifth minute and then on 10 minutes.

Arsenal legend Wright is following the match, and he is pleased to see the 22-year-old striker turn on the style for the Gunners.

Nketiah is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season.

Nketiah is scoring important goals for Arsenal at the moment and is showing what he can do when he is given a run of games.

The Englishman is not an elite striker – yet – and is still developing and progressing as a footballer.

Arsenal could play in the Champions League next season, and that would mean more games for Nketiah to play in.

However, we do not think that Arsenal will make Nketiah their number one striker next season.

If the Gunners finish in the Premier League top four this season, then they are surely going to bring in an established and experienced striker, which would mean that Nketiah would play second fiddle.
