Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told Football.London that Ben White will be fit for the North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this week.
Arteta’s Arsenal will take on Tottenham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
Both the Gunners and Spurs are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four this season.
Arsenal are fourth with 66 points from 35 matches, while bitter North London rivals Tottenham are fifth with 62 points from 35 games.
Defender Ben White is on the sidelines at the moment with a tight hamstring, but Arsenal manager Arteta believes that the £50 million England international will be back in action against Tottenham.
Mikel Arteta on Ben White for Arsenal v Tottenham
Arteta told Football.London when asked if White could play against Tottenham: “I think so [he’ll be available against Tottenham]. He’s starting to do a little bit of work on the pitch. We want everyone available.”

Big boost
In our opinion, if White is able to start for Arsenal against Tottenham, then it will enhance the chances of the Gunners winning the North London derby.
Gabriel and Rob Holding are a good pairing, but the Brazilian and White at centre-back is an even better option for Arsenal.
Tottenham have two of the best forwards in the Premier League in Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, and the presence of White in central defence would help the Gunners.
