Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are interested in signing Kalvin Phillips along with Raphinha from Leeds United in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.
Liverpool show interest in Kalvin Phillips
90min have reported that Liverpool are competing with Manchester United, Newcastle United and Aston Villa for the signature of Leeds midfielder Phillips.
Talks between the England international midfielder and Leeds over a new contract have been stopped for now, as the Whites aim to avoid the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
Interestingly, Phillips is not the only Leeds player Liverpool are reportedly keen on.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano reported in Anfield Watch in April 2022 that Liverpool are interested in signing Brazil international winger Raphinha in the summer transfer window.

Could a transfer happen?
In our opinion, if Leeds get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, then it is very likely that a transfer of Phillips to Liverpool could happen…
If, of course, Liverpool are willing to pay the £60 million transfer fee that Leeds reportedly want for the 26-year-old midfielder.
Phillips is a Leeds fan, but it is unlikely that the England international midfielder would want to play in the Championship.
Again.
A move to Liverpool would be very appealing for Phillips.
