Goal journalist Charles Watts has said on his YouTube channel that Arsenal want £15 million for right-back Hector Bellerin.
Bellerin joined Real Betis on loan from Arsenal in the summer of 2021.
The 27-year-old Spain international winger is scheduled to return to Arsenal from his loan spell at the end of the season.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Watts has said that the Gunners are looking to sell Bellerin in the summer of 2022 and want £15 million as transfer fee.
Arsenal stance on Hector Bellerin
Watts said on his YouTube channel, as transcribed by TheBootRoom: “I’ve been speaking to people close to Bellerin about this and my understanding of the situation is that Bellerin will not be coming back to Arsenal.
“I know Mikel Arteta was asked about this last week at the press conference and said he’s a player contracted to Arsenal, so we’ll prepare for him to come back. If all the moves break down, he’ll have to come back but my understanding is that everyone is working towards the idea that Bellerin will leave permanently this summer.
“The first option is Real Betis. They are happy with him and want to keep him. They believe they can make the move permanent. They’ve got themselves European football next season so they do have some money, and they don’t believe it will cost an astronomical amount of money to tempt Arsenal into selling.
“I’ve seen quoted £15 million for Hector Bellerin, I’d be stunned if they got that. I’d think it would be between 5-10 million euros (£4.2 – £8.4 million) potentially.
“He’ll have to take a wage cut but that won’t be an issue, he had to take a wage cut to get the loan deal through and he will likely do that again to pull down the curtain on his Arsenal career. I think that will be a move which will be done in the summer.”

No future at Gunners
In our opinion, Bellerin does not have a future at Arsenal, and it would be best for the two parties to part ways at the end of the season.
For good.
The right-back is enjoying himself at Betis and recently won the Copa del Rey.
Bellerin is playing regularly for Betis, and we think that it would be best for the Spain international if he stays at the La Liga club.
Arsenal signed Takehiro Tomiyasu in the summer of 2021, and the Japan international is now the clear first-choice right-back at the Gunners.
Bellerin has made 21 starts and one substitute appearance in La Liga for Betis this season, providing two assists in the process.
The right-back also gave two assists in four Europa League matches and played thrice in the Copa del Rey.
