The Daily Star have claimed that Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City all are interested in signing midfielder Ward-Prowse from Premier League rivals Southampton in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are also reported to be keen on securing the services of the 27-year-old free-kick specialist.

The Sun have reported that Ward-Prowse will cost £75 million, and that incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag personally wants to sign him and has already received the go-ahead from his bosses at Old Trafford.

In-demand

We are not surprised to see Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City all linked with Ward-Prowse.

The England international is at the top of his game at the moment and is a very good box-to-box midfielder.

The 27-year-old has scored 14 goals from free kicks in the Premier League so far in his career.

The midfielder has been at Southampton his entire professional club football career so far.

While Ward-Prowse seems committed to the Saints, the chance to join a bigger club such as Arsenal or Manchester United could be very tempting for him.
