Rangers talent Rory Wilson looks set to leave Ibrox for Aston Villa this summer despite interest from the likes of Liverpool and Leeds United.
The Gers appear to have a wonderkid on their hands in Wilson but keeping old of him now looks to be nearing impossible.
Wilson, 16, scored the winner for Rangers as their Under-18’s beat Celtic 2-1 earlier on Saturday afternoon.
Wilson’s latest goal will have turned heads once again and it looks like the teenage striker is preparing to leave Rangers.
The Daily Star reported in March that Leeds United and Liverpool were both looking to sign Wilson.
Newcastle United, Manchester United and Manchester City are also keen, with Wilson allegedly keen to go.
Despite Rangers offering Wilson a professional contract to stay at Ibrox, Wilson seemingly appears set for a move to England.
Yet all five of those clubs named in the race for Wilson are going to miss out if new reports are to be believed.
The Birmingham Mail report that Wilson’s move to join Aston Villa is actually ‘done and dusted’.
They seem very confident that Wilson is Villa-bound this summer and he could be joined by another Scottish talent in Hearts teenager Ewan Sampson.

This would be a bitter pill to swallow for Rangers, who may feel that this is somewhat similar to Billy Gilmour’s exit.
Gilmour was another highly-rated talent in the Rangers ranks but he left early for Chelsea amid strong interest around England.
Wilson now looks set to follow suit and reunite with Steven Gerrard at Villa.
Wilson won’t have been around Gerrard’s first-team setup at Rangers but they may well know each other from Ibrox.
Add in coaches like Michael Beale and Gary McAllister also followed Gerrard from Rangers to Villa and you can see why Villa may have detailed information on Wilson.
Any move will likely only be confirmed this summer but Rangers may be facing up to losing one of their top teenagers.
