Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised left-back Andy Robertson on BT Sport 1 (2:44pm, April 30, 2022) for his performance against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Klopp was stunned to see Robertson going on attacking forays in the final minutes of the match for Liverpool against Newcastle.
Liverpool have got the better of Newcastle 1-0 away from home at St. James’ Park in the Premier League today.
Naby Keita scored the only goal of the match in the 19th minute.

Brilliant performance
In our opinion, Liverpool left-back Robertson was brilliant against Newcastle and was a problem for the Magpies throughout his time on the pitch.
Jamie Carragher was among those who were impressed by the Scotland international left-back.
Robertson took one shot which was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 85.4%, won one header, took 68 touches, attempted one dribble, made one tackle, three interceptions and one clearance, and put in four crosses.
For Liverpool to win the Premier League and the Champions League this season, in our view, Robertson will have to be on top of his game in the final weeks of the campaign.
