According to Voetbal Primeur, Leeds are interested in signing Nicolas Raskin, with Jesse Marsch keen to bring him to the Premier League.
What’s the story?
Well, the Dutch news outlet believe Leeds are among those interested in signing the 21-year-old this summer, with Genoa also interested.
Voetbal Primeur add that sides in Belgium are also keen to sign Raskin, who appears to be a very bright prospect.
The youngster has been described as a “pitbull” by Belgian journalist Bob Faesen, which should align nicely with Marsch’s intense style.
So far this season, Raskin has made 31 appearances in all competitions for Standard Liege, scoring one goal while also providing four assists.

Voetbal Primeur add that the Belgium Under-21 international is looking for a transfer, as he hopes to leave the Jupiler Pro League side.
However, 777 Partners – the new owners at Standard Liege – are trying to tie him down to a contract extension.
Leeds nearly signed Nicolas Raskin in January
Interestingly, Leeds actually tried to sign Raskin back in January, while Marcelo Bielsa was still in charge.
It was even said that the Whites had agreed a £6m fee with Standard Liege, as the prodigy closed in on a move to Elland Road.
Sadly, the deal fell through, although it seems Marsch is intent on resurrecting the deal after replacing the Argentine in February.
Raskin would be a necessary arrival in the midfield department at Leeds, as there aren’t many options in that area for the American to use.

As things stand, Marsch only has Adam Forshaw, Kalvin Phillips, Mateusz Klich and Jamie Shackleton, while Robin Koch can play there if need be.
Therefore, we wouldn’t be surprised if a new central midfielder is the first player to arrive at Thorp Arch this summer.
Keep an eye on this saga, as anything could happen this summer.
