£30 million would be a bargain for Ibrahim Sangare with PSV Eindhoven legend Aad de Mos claiming that Premier League giants Arsenal should look at bringing in the Leicester City target, speaking via Voetbal4U.
Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes might have knocked the Dutch giants out of the UEFA Conference League in the quarter-final stage but PSV’s Ivorian enforcer obviously left a lasting impression on many at the King Power Stadium.
According to The Sun, Leicester are lining up a £30 million summer swoop for Sangare.
A deep-lying powerhouse of a playmaker, the 24-year-old has been arguably PSV’s most consistent performer this term, even ahead of the likes of Cody Gakpo and Eran Zahavi.
Better than Lokonga?
“Ibrahim Sangare is better on one leg than Leicester’s midfield. This season, he is the king of PSV,” says De Mos, who believes the former Toulouse youngster can play at a ‘higher’ level than a club sitting a lowly tenth in the Premier League table.
“Sangare is not only suitable for Leicester, he can also easily join an even higher club. He can easily play at Tottenham and certainly also at Arsenal. He is better than Albert Lokonga.

“Sangare is a great player. I think 35 million euros is a good price. He would be first on the team sheet for any of those teams (Leicester, Arsenal and Spurs).
“You need someone like that, who takes the ball and always piuts the boot in. And, lately, he has also become dangerous in the opposition penalty area.”

Sangare’s agent admitted to De Telegraaf back in 2020 that Arsenal showed an interest before PSV pulled off a £9 million coup for one of the most coveted talents in French football. The Gunners may be tempted to renew their interest in light of Granit Xhaka’s uncertain future.
In addition to Leicester, Aston Villa are also weighing up a move for Sangare with Steven Gerrard having scouted the 6ft 3ins giant recently (VI).
