Andy Robertson has stated that Divock Origi is a ‘fantastic’ player for Liverpool.
The 27-year-old may not start regular games for Liverpool, or even earn regular minutes, but he is still a club legend in the eyes of his manager, Jurgen Klopp.
That was proven at the weekend when he came off the bench to play a part in both goals during his side’s 2-0 win over Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Origi is yet to start a Premier League game this term, yet the impact he is having this season is of high, high importance.
One thing is for sure, he is loved within the Liverpool camp and by his supporters, as Robertson praised the player on Premier League Productions (24/04/22 at 6:35 pm).
“Divi’s is Divock,” laughed Robertson. “He’s a big game player, especially against Everton, I think his record is unbelievable.
“When he came on. I think the mood changed. Anfield just believed that Divock was going to score and that’s the kind of attitude you have around him.
“Fantastic player and he’s unbelievable.”

Origi is built for those big, big moments and they are coming thick and fast for the Reds now.
The Champions League semi-final, Premier League title-charging games and FA Cup final all await those on Merseyside.
Don’t be surprised if Origi is wheeling away in celebration a few more times before May and doing the business for his team.
There are some who are even calling for the Belgian to have a statue outside of Anfield.
And if he scores the goals that fire Liverpool to more trophies during these coming weeks, then they will be carving up that statue in no time.
