Celtic are back in the market for another left back having targeted Hammarby star Mohanad Jeahze for a summer move to Parkhead.
That’s according to The Scottish Sun, who claim that Celtic are eyeing a £2million deal to bring Jeahze to Glasgow this summer.
Ange Postecoglou allegedly wants to bring in another left back to compete with Greg Taylor next season.
Liam Scales hasn’t quite done that, and with no way back for Boli Bolingoli it looks like Celtic will sign a left back.
Lech Poznań have had a bid rejected for Jeahze with Hammarby seemingly hoping for a transfer scrap this summer.
Given that Jeahze is out of contract in December 2023, Celtic will have a real chance of bringing him to Scotland.

Who is Celtic target Mohanad Jeahze?
Jeahze, 25, was born in Sweden but actually plays for Iraq on the international stage.
Postecoglou recently hinted he would like to explore the Iranian market but it’s neighbours Iraq who have a player on Celtic’s radar.
Jeahze impressed with Mjallby before joining Hammarby in 2020 and has emerged as a quick and attack-minded left back.

12 assists in 55 games for Hammarby is an impressive record and he has even shown the ability to play as a wing back.
One interesting note for Celtic fans is that Jeahze actually had a rather public feud with former Celtic defender Michael Lustig.
Lustig’s AIK were 2-0 up against Hammarby when Jeahze shot the ball against Lustig.
The pair clashed and Lustig was holding his face whilst insinuating a headbutt, an action branded ‘embarrassing’ by Hammarby captain Jeppe Andersen.
Jeahze admitted that the pair had a ‘little bit of a fight’ and wasn’t impressed with Lustig’s exuberant celebrations when he made it 3-0.
Jeahze vowed to ‘hit back hard’, to which Lustig sarcastically responded ‘Oh no, how will I sleep now?’
It’s clear that the pair weren’t exactly best friends, but Jeahze could now follow in Lustig’s footsteps with a move to Celtic.
