Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are worried about missing out on Benfica striker Darwin Nunez in the summer transfer window, according to The Express.
The report has claimed that Arsenal wanted to sign Nunez in the January transfer window and are still in the hunt for the 22-year-old, described as “a strong striker” by Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson on the club’s official website this month.
However, the Gunners are worried that the striker’s £67 million price-tag could be out of their reach.
Arsenal should bid for Darwin Nunez
In our opinion, Arsenal should make a bid for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez in the summer transfer window.
Yes, £67 million is a lot of money, but we cannot escape the fact that Arsenal need to sign a quality striker in the summer transfer window.

The Uruguay international striker has scored 25 goals and given four assists in 22 Portuguese league starts this season.
Nunez also scored six goals in six Champions League starts for Benfica this campaign.
In our view, Arsenal should continue to monitor Nunez and bid for the striker at the end of the season.
The Gunners could end up in the Premier League top four this season, and that would then strengthen their chances of luring players such as Nunez to the Emirates Stadium.
