Tottenham Hotspur have told head coach Antonio Conte that he will be backed in the summer transfer window amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to The Times.
The report has claimed that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has told Conte that he will be backed in the summer of 2022.
However, the former Chelsea and Inter Milan tactician wants to be sure about Tottenham’s determination to close the gap on the Premier League top-four sides.
The report has added that PSG are interested in appointing Conte as their head coach, but they prefer Zinedine Zidane.
Mauricio Pochettino is the manager of PSG at the moment, but he will reportedly be sacked soon.

PSG or Tottenham Hotspur for Antonio Conte?
In our opinion, Tottenham could really lose Conte to PSG if the French club make a good offer and if Spurs are unable to finish in the Premier League top four this season.
We know that PSG are a massive club who have the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar in their squad.
The Ligue 1 champions will be aiming to win the Champions League next season, and that could be appeal to Conte, who is a serial winner but is unlikely to lead Tottenham to domestic or European glory anytime soon.
