Arsenal probably have to replace their best and only two strikers this summer.

Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are both out of contract in North London.

However, Edu might have a stunning double deal lined up for Arsenal and if it materialises, well, they’re two ridiculous upgrades on the Arsenal duo.

In recent days, there’s been a lot of speculation about the Gunners signing Gabriel Jesus of Manchester City, which is even more exciting now after the Brazilian hit four goals for the Citizens on Saturday afternoon.

According to Yahoo Sport, the North Londoners have submitted a ‘huge’ offer to the player in regards to personal terms, equating to around £5.5 million per year.

And then there’s Victor Osimhen who, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport‘s print edition today [24/04, page 15], is also very much on Edu’s radar.

The Italy-based publication has claimed that Arsenal are taking ‘concrete steps’ toward signing the Napoli marksman.

Both players would be an ideal scenario for Edu and Mikel Artet and, honestly, both would be a stunning upgrade on their existing options.

Lacazette and Nketiah have managed six goals from a combined 42 Premier League appearances this season.

Honestly, signing two better strikers wouldn’t be difficult in light of those numbers, but these two, Jesus and Osimhen, could take Arsenal to another level entirely.

Actually, with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard supporting both, those two hitmen could make Arsenal an absolutely frightening prospect next season.

Nobody’s talking about winning the Premier League or anything, but if the Gunners can get to the brink of Champions League qualification without a prolific striker up front, then two figures like Gabriel Jesus and Osimhen could make Arteta’s side a lot better.
