Rizz: Meaning and origin explained

Rizz is NYC slang created by YouTuber and Twitch streamer, Kai Cenat. It refers to a male’s ability to impress women aka game, as per Urban Dictionary.

Although it’s only just circulating on TikTok, the term has existed since at least June 2021 and Cenat has made several videos dedicated to rizz.

In July 2021, he launched “Rizz Academy” on stream; his very own ‘institution’ to improve the love lives of his friends by boosting their skills with the ladies. Practice makes perfect, so he welcomed a few women to “see if they got game.”

According to Cenat, there are three forms of rizz: W, V, and L, with W being the best and the latter being the worst, which you’ll want to avoid.

Everyone on TikTok has different guides on how to achieve W rizz, so choose who you learn from wisely.

Unspoken rizz is the next level up

Unspoken rizz is a “very rare rizz”, explains the creator. It’s when a man has the ability to attract a woman purely by his physical appearance and he doesn’t need to even talk.

Fans of Cenat frequently tease him since his friend and fellow creator, Duke Dennis, has been able to achieve “unspoken rizz”, whilst he initially struggled.

See it go down in this video; it had the Twitch chat crying with laughter. All Dennis did was make a gesture and the message was well-received:

Here’s a TikTok of Dennis hyped over his success:
