The Evening Standard claim Tottenham are set to complete the permanent signing of Dejan Kulusevski for a fee of £24.9million. The Swedish ace has been superb for Spurs since joining the club on loan from Juventus.

Kulusevski, who turns 22 next Monday, has already had a hand in nine goals during 10 Premier League starts – scoring three and creating six. He joined on an 18-month loan in January, which cost Spurs just £8.3million.

Now, Spurs have two options. Sign him this summer, or sign him next summer. This summer, it will see Spurs pay an overall fee of £33.2million – sending a permanent £24.9million to Juventus in the coming weeks.

Next summer, Spurs would have to pay £4.2million more – a fee of £29.1million. That would see Spurs have to pay a total of £37.4million. But a deal in the coming window sees Spurs pocket that £4.2million difference.

Tottenham set to sign Kulusevski: £24.9million fee a bargain

Judging by the stats, he has eclipsed the signing of Luis Diaz at Liverpool. His goal involvements have been utterly superb, even after his shaky outing against Brighton on Saturday. So, £24.9million is a bargain for Kulusevski.

Mostly, because he is so young. Turning 22 next week, the Swede is playing like a player that has been in the Premier League for years – at Spurs for years. The clause is a bargain; he is a player worth far more right now.
