Confidence is a huge thing in football, and for Arsenal, it’s surely starting to wane after three successive Premier League defeats.
Aside from football, hair loss can impact confidence, and it seems Gabriel Magalhães has sought to rectify that issue in recent weeks.
What’s the story?
Well, yesterday, photos emerged from training at London Colney, where the £23.14m Arsenal man looks a bit different.
As you can see above, the Brazilian has undergone a hair transplant to fix his receding hairline, and it’s safe to say the surgeon has done a brilliant job.
Gabriel looked five years younger as he took to the training pitches at London Colney, and hopefully, his decision will add to his confidence across the final seven Premier League games for Arsenal.

Of course, that might sound silly to say, but – as aforesaid – hair loss can certainly have a negative impact on a person’s confidence.
If the £50,000-a-week man now goes on a brilliant run of form, we will know why.
Arsenal need Gabriel to step up
For the majority of the current campaign, Gabriel has been superb alongside Ben White.
However, the 24-year-old has struggled in recent weeks, most notably in the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.

Gabriel was all over the place at Selhurst Park, and Mikel Arteta needs his No.6 to be back on form as we enter the business end to the season.
Arsenal have seven games to return to the Champions League, and with Tottenham three points ahead of them, everyone – not just Gabriel – needs to step up.
