
Fulham are now hoping to convince Liverpool to sell right back Neco Williams after he impressed on loan at Craven Cottage.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Fulham are already looking to spend ahead of their promotion.
Fulham aren’t quite up yet, but a win over Preston North End on Tuesday will wrap it up.
Fulham have immediately gone down after their last two promotions and are hoping to stop that run this time around.
The Cottagers have already identified targets but they’re also focusing on keeping loanee Williams.
Williams, 21, was sent on loan to Fulham in January having made just one Premier League appearance in the first half of the season.
The Welshman has impressed with Fulham though, nailing down a key role under Marco Silva.
It’s now suggested that Fulham will try to persuade Liverpool into a permanent deal – something you’d imagine everybody involved will fancy.
Liverpool do love selling their fringe talents for big cash, including Williams’ Fulham and Wales teammate Harry Wilson.
Dominic Solanke and Jordon Ibe spring to mind too, and you can imagine Liverpool would be open to selling Williams.

As for Williams himself, he has very little chance of bypassing Trent Alexander-Arnold in the Liverpool pecking order any time soon.
Jurgen Klopp may have called Williams a ‘machine’, but it’s tough going for him at Anfield.
First-team football is key for him, especially with Wales potentially on their way to the World Cup later this year.
Williams needs to be playing regularly and Fulham can offer that, whilst the continuity of keeping his role at Fulham could be vital.
You would imagine that Liverpool will be demanding at least £10million for Williams, but Fulham seem ready to spend once they win promotion.
Of all the targets Fulham have in mind, such as Dwight McNeil and Erick Gutierrez, a deal for Williams seems the most likely.
