Andros Townsend has been speaking to the official Premier League YouTube channel, where he mentioned Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
The Everton forward was asked who his most skilful teammate has been throughout his career, prompting him to shower the 2021 Arsenal and Tottenham target in praise.
What’s the story?
Well, Townsend believes Zaha is among the trickiest players in the Premier League, and hailed the Ivorian’s dribbling ability.
Speaking to the Premier League on YouTube, the 30-year-old said: “Wilfried Zaha is probably the most skilful. He’s skilful when you see him on a Saturday, but on Monday to Friday, he’s just different level, like small-sided games, it’s impossible.
“If I’m on the other team to him, he’ll put the ball through my legs. Some of his tricks and skills, it’s just amazing.”
It comes after Arsenal tried to sign Zaha once again in 2021, according to 90min, whereas it was Goal who claimed Tottenham were again interested in the 29-year-old.

So far this season, the Crystal Palace No.11 has scored 12 goals in 29 appearances, while also providing two assists.
It is the best goalscoring season of Zaha’s career to date, and he still has seven Premier League games and an FA Cup Semi-Final to add to that tally.
Arsenal & Tottenham could sign Wilfried Zaha
Whilst Crystal Palace have made things difficult for those trying to sign Zaha in the past, they now seem more open to his departure than ever.

According to the Daily Mail, the south Londoners have huge faith in the likes of Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, so much so that they’re willing to listen to offers for their talisman.
Zaha’s contract expires in June 2023, so if he doesn’t sign a new deal, this summer would be Crystal Palace’s last chance to receive a fee for him.
After such an impressive season, we would be very surprised if Mikel Arteta and Antonio Conte aren’t interested.
