According to Fabrizio Romano, Manor Solomon to Fulham is now a done deal, meaning Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa have missed out.
What’s the story?
Well, the Premier League quartet were all interested in the Israel international, according to TEAMtalk.
However, they have been beaten to Solomon’s signature by Fulham, who currently sit top of the Championship under Marco Silva.
Romano believe a €7.5m (£6.2m) deal has been agreed between Shakhtar Donetsk and the Cottagers, which is a bargain for a player Arsenal allegedly bid £17m for in 2021.
Of course, the war in Ukraine has played a part in the cut-price fee, as football in the nation has come to a standstill.
The 22-year-old has signed a contract at Craven Cottage until 2027, and will arrive in west London on July 1st.
Shakhtar Donetsk have agreed a 15% sell-on clause.
Fulham have done extremely well to sign Manor Solomon

With all due respect, we’re not quite sure how Fulham have managed to get this deal over the line.
Solomon scored two goals against Real Madrid last season – one in Ukraine, one in Spain – and seemed destined to join a top Premier League outfit.
It was no surprise to see Arsenal bid for him, and it speaks volumes that Shakhtar Donetsk actually rejected that £17m offer.

Clearly, they rate the Israeli very highly, but the war has unfortunately caused a separation between the pair.
Hopefully, Solomon can get his career back on track in London, where we expect to see him causing defenders all sorts of problems.
