Jose Enrique has urged Liverpool to sell both Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer and bring in Jude Bellingham as a replacement, and another midfielder. He responded to a Reds fan on his Instagram story.
Liverpool are expected to reshuffle their midfield this summer, with James Milner out of contract – and the likes of Keita and Curtis Jones being linked with moves. The club also have plenty out of contract in June 2023.
Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain are two of five players that will currently see their Liverpool deals end in little over 12 months. Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are also on that list – there is work to be done.
The Reds will surely want to keep Mane and Salah, but the jury is out over whether extending Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Firmino’s deals are worth it. Enrique says Liverpool should sell Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The ex-Reds defender told a Liverpool fan on his Instagram story that the Reds would get a bit of cash towards them – which can be put towards a replacement in £84million (BILD) Bellingham and another midfielder.

Well, both Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain have become renowned as incredibly injury prone at Anfield. The two have spent more than their fair share in the treatment room. But they are hardly getting on.
Keita is still only 27 and Oxlade-Chamberlain only turns 29 in August. The latter offers enormous versatility even if he is struggling to get into the side. Selling one of the duo and getting Bellingham is a good compromise.
