Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski could be on the move this summer – and Liverpool have allegedly made a move to sign him.
In a blockbuster report from Polish news outlet Interia Sport, it’s claimed that Lewandowski is leaving Bayern at the end of the season.
His destination is very interesting, as Interia claim that Lewandowski has reached an agreement to join Barcelona.
Lewandowski is out of contract in 2023 and it’s believed that he will now look to move on this summer to pen a three-year deal with Barca.
Lewandowski is understood to have had three rival offers on the table, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain all interested.
PSG are always in the market for big names whilst Lewandowski worked with Liverpool boss Klopp at Borussia Dortmund and with City chief Pep Guardiola at Bayern.
Despite the potential of an emotional pull towards Klopp or Guardiola, Lewandowski is allegedly picking a move to Barcelona.
This could have been a huge capture for Liverpool and Klopp.
Klopp named Lewandowski as the best player he has ever worked with, branding the Polish hitman ‘extraordinary’.
Lewandowski smashed 103 goals in 187 games for Dortmund under Klopp before leaving for Bayern in 2014.

It’s a surprise to see Liverpool being linked with another striker though.
Klopp has enough problems trying to juggle Luis Diaz, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah without adding another goalscorer into the mix!
Turning 34 this summer, Lewandowski doesn’t really fit the usual Liverpool age profile and is a household name already; Liverpool usually prefer to turn players into stars.
Liverpool did though make an exception for Lewandowski’s former Bayern teammate Thiago Alcantara and may have been wiling to do the same to get the Pole working for Klopp again.
Instead though, the legendary goalscorer is seemingly Catalunya-bound this summer in a shock transfer.
