Mohamed Salah has told Sky Sports that Jurgen Klopp gave his Liverpool side eight words of simple advice ahead of visiting Manchester City in a possibly title-deciding showdown.
The Reds travel to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday with a chance to move atop the Premier League table. Liverpool trail Pep Guardiola’s squad by a single point with eight games still to play. The Merseysiders will also arrive in Manchester on a 10 league game winning run.
Manchester City, meanwhile, have won seven of their last 10, drawing two and losing 3-2 at home to Tottenham Hotspur. The Spurs result was just their third defeat of the season so far and second at home. Crystal Palace also won 2-0 at the Etihad back on October 30.

Of Liverpool’s 10-game winning run ahead of visiting Manchester City, four have come on the road. The last match where Klopp’s men failed to take all three points was a 2-2 draw at Chelsea on January 2. They led 2-0 at Stamford Bridge before goals either side of half-time.
Mo Salah claims Klopp’s told Liverpool ‘just go for it’ at Manchester City
Salah struck Liverpool’s second at Chelsea, but will face Manchester City out of form by his standards. The 29-year-old has scored 20 goals and laid on 10 in 28 Premier League games so far this season. But he has now only scored one over his last four and assisted one in 13.

Klopp will hope Salah responds on Sunday, but the Liverpool boss is taking the pressure off his squad by giving the Anfield side eight words of advice ahead of facing Manchester City.
“The most important thing for us is not to lose the game,” he said. “But if we lose, the gap is going to be bigger. The manager talked to us today [Friday], and just said enjoy the moment and just go for it.”
